Endometriosis, a chronic condition impacting 10% of reproductive-age women, poses a significant challenge due to the limitations of current diagnostic tools. Approximately 75% of the patients experience misdiagnosis. The existing inadequate imaging capabilities do not only extends the diagnostic period to 11 years, but also leaves the patients in an ongoing vicious cycle of poor diagnosis, trial-and-error based treatment, recurrence and progression of this chronic debilitating condition.
